Fluffykun08 Of course I read them. I was talking about the "crafting" animations after the dialogue or when the item was already synthesized once, the ones you can fast forward. Looks like you can still skip these, but no way I'm doing that if they all look like that ^_^
Really feels like we're getting a true 'sequel' to Ar Tonelico 2. Looking forward to this quite a bit, and hoping to see a possible localization at some point in the future. Looks great, Gust.
God, I got the same feeling, I'm so happy about this. The first Ar Tonelico was nothing special and the third was almost atrocious, but I really really loved the second one. I had lots of fun, it was interesting, challenging and had a nice plot - and a good cast of character - the character development of Crosche e Luka was amazing

Disregarding the repetitive battle system and overly gratuitous fanservice. I actually really loved the 3rd one. 2nd one is still the best though. But the 3rd had an awesome soundtrack, and the character development for the main females cast was great. Plus I loved the jokes in it especially how they pay out Windows Vista.
Well, I remember playing Ar Tonelico 2 ALSO because of the incredibly fun battle system, the choice you ended up having in songs, the abilities - which were a little lackluster, but HOW you ended up getting them and building up to them in battle was fun, and the Replekia System with the huge amount of secret Reyvateil to find and battle was just great. I really loved it. The third one was very boring, too much useless dialogue, uninteresting characters (Tatsumi/Cocona, Hojo... who?) and the battle system was really excruciating... This one looks akin to the second game, and I can't wait

Battle system reminds me a bit of Ar Tonelico 2's. Which is good! Good show Gust, I'm lookin' forward to this!
Though I enjoyed Ar Tonelico 3 Qoga, I had this feeling that they should've sticked with the original formula...

Looks great. The environments and characters look beautiful and the music is awesome. The battle system looks interesting. Now I'm only praying for an English release with dual audio.
Super cool. Hope it gets localized, between this, Escha, and Xillia 2, 2014 is going to be a fun year for JRPGs!

i'd rather try this out then get all the atelier games localized like they always do, though the new one coming out doesn't look too bad i guess.
I wonder when they will do a role reversal Ar Tonelico game for a change. Male singers and male fan service for a change. That would be hilarious. I can already hear the nay sayers. Though let's imagine they started catering for female gamers as well, they'd make a fortune.

Oh I know, it's just the world tends to forget that women exist as well and I have a hunch that there are female gamers out there who are waiting for this kind of RPG to be made.
I would also say gay men and, well, general public who might be interested in a change of pace just for fun. I don't really get interested or aroused by any of that female fan service, and yet I love the series.

Good point.
That's not a bad idea. In fact, my friend suggested one of the fighters could be a beastly fighter and the male singer could be a fragile young man type. It would make for a great gay "Bishi and the Beast" pairing in a game that encourages relationships. But you know Japan, they tend to poke fun at homosexuality and gay characters rather than treat the latter's love seriously.
That ending dance haha. Is that how you do item creation in this game? XD

She won't appear. The Ar Ciel era to which the protagonists will arrive is 300 years before Mir was created.

Yeah, I was kinda hoping i was wrong about the time period or on some Miraculous events in-game =/... Mir is my favorite character in there...Oh well still hyped though ^^

If you're talking about the person on the enemy's side inthat one fight, that would be Nei, a character from Ciel Nosurge. As for the guy/girl? (I think she's a girl, but if she's a he, then he's pretty much the next Yoshii Hideyoshi ;P XD jk) who's tagging along with them, that would be Tattoria.

Ar no Surge, it's an rpg and a mix between Ar Tonelico & Ciel no Surge. It comes out in Japan on the 6th of March, 2014
